Today would be Archie Cochrane's Birthday!
Archie worked in Cardiff from 1948 championing health research. Our library at University Hospital Llandough (where he worked) is named after him, as is the building in which the Health Library at University Hospital Wales resides!

Day 9 and today we're at the Health Library, University Hospital Wales. The Cardiff University Library team are operating a Christmas collection point here for the Trussell Trust Food Banks until December 14th. Please donate here if you have the means to give!

If you have a card but haven't used it in a while, check that it still works! If not, visit the 1st floor enquiry desk at the Health Library UHW and we'll reset it!

CAVUHB Libraries will be unstaffed from 4pm on Tuesday December 23rd until 8:30 on Monday January 5th - but you can still access us 24/7 during that time with a library ID card - get in touch ASAP to arrange this if you need a library over Christmas!
