Today would be Archie Cochrane's Birthday!
Archie worked in Cardiff from 1948 championing health research. Our library at University Hospital Llandough (where he worked) is named after him, as is the building in which the Health Library at University Hospital Wales resides!

Day 19 of our advent calendar and now we're all being shown up by this incredible diorama at the Princess of Wales Hospital Library - even Elfie had to come by and check it out (and evidently found a friend in the process...)

Day 17 of our Christmas countdown and we're landing at John Spalding Library, Wrexham Maelor Hospital, and another incredible journal tree. Who says no one uses physical journals anymore?! Can't make a tree out of e-journals can you...and we've tried!
