I find the whole MMT money grows on trees and the socialist society owns the means of production specious and damaging to the soul of humankind.
We should see tho that robots making robots are the limit of capitalism. They should be assessed a placement fee. They damage everything.

There are people who are rigid in their economic thinking that Keynesian notions of aggregate demand are false, that markets will correct excesses left to themselves.
To those people: rigorously define how many Volkswagens equal a superyacht in economic impact. Then we'll talk.

Pardon my author's paranoia but I posted and time stamped a substantial outline as an idea for a book on my blog site. An unregistered machine, read dark net, just scraped that blog site. If it was a grifter the book will be in your neighborhood bookstore in days. Oh well.

That's what the book is about. It's a long involved story much like a classic American version of The Autobiography of John Stuart Mill. Certainly not in his class of ideation of course but a thoughtful account of books read and books integrated into the fabric of a mind. Thanks for the feedback.

An Idea for a Book Contemporary Thought

I'm still puzzling at a book I intend to write about the process of ideation from formative influences to foundational notions. I subtitle it, "The History of an Idea". Here's a try at an outline...

When I wrote this blog in August 2025 it was early to the problem. World models for physical #AI now ready to download, #Cosmos. #ClaudeCode now reducing humanpower requirements in coding.
I generated this scheme brainstorming with #Claude who wrote it up like a good #assistant.

If we start replacing human labor with robot labor, and we do get closer to that by the day, the market economy dies a horrible death of demand insufficiency. We have to create a transfer mechanism which preserves private property and free markets. Here's a try...

When the economic system stops empowering labor, even white collar labor, and starts replacing it the system collapses from demand insufficiency. We are at that point.
The solution is a transfer of wealth from robot labor to consumers, such as a per hour licensing fee on robots.

Capitalism is a process of reducing the opportunity cost of specific productive behaviors and so enhancing the general productive repertoire.
The Economic Singularity, robots making robots, is both alien and inherent to that process. It is a limiting case and requires a wealth transfer.

There are good tutorials on "agentic AI" around. It would be a good idea to watch a few. It's not a different architecture. It's an incremental extension of LLMs, subject to hallucinations, subject to mistakes. It's agentic because it's a prompt generator. It prompts itself essentially.

That would be a classic throwing the baby out with the bath water. AI assistants are invaluable game changers but they don't monetize well so the industry promotes the fiction of agency because they are desperate for monetization. It's not a matter of euthanasia but rather letting them dig a hole.

Gladys Mae West obituary: mathematician who pioneered GPS technology She made key contributions to US cold-war science despite facing huge barriers as a Black woman.

No joke: I got angry hate mail today for writing an obituary of a Black woman scientistβ€”because the person felt she did didn’t deserve the recognition.

Which just makes me want to share it again: www.nature.com/articles/d41...

We're having a problem in semantics which is making communication difficult. Given the legal environment of property, especially the primary tort of English common law, public nuisance, there is no absolute ownership of anything. Substitute steward for owner and you get a sense of reality

I see the problem in communication. Agents are autonomous. Assistants require handholding. If you're walking it through and checking it, it's an assistant.
Jensen Huang specializes in that linguistic confusion. The industry even created a phrase to confuse everybody, agentic AI.
Confusion everywhere

I'm sorry but agency is beyond the design constraints of current AI architecture. It will hallucinate. It will make mistakes. It needs watching constantly. When I say science fiction scenario I mean maybe in a generation or two with a radical change in architecture.
It does make a superb assistant.
