A tip for quickly setting up 3D interior scenes with furniture: you can get a Tampermonkey script to download the 3D models from Ikea's webpages: github.com/apinanaivot/...
Then you can just drag & drop the files directly into Blender, textured and all.

Fucked around with generative AI, this time with Krita's ComfyUI plugin. It was a fun experiment, but like with all AI results I've done so far, I avoid posting them so that I don't contribute to AI slop pollution. This is a whole topic in and of itself, so I won't elaborate on it here.
Visited Berlin with my cuz for a week on July. Amazing fucking trip, I love that city. It could be a separate thread all it's own.
Survived a heat wave. Turns out, this apartment turns into a sauna in the summer (not in good way!). Portable AC really saved my ass on July and early August.
Mentioned or alluded to this in a previous post, but I got a mortgage and bought an apartment. I'm a big boy now! Lots of stress with the paperwork and money and move and all that, but that's all taken care now, and been living here since for over 3 months now and loving it.
