The most valuable one is saying No.

One of the best filters for this this is Naval’s idea of setting a very high aspirational rate for yourself

If it costs less than the rate at which you value your time, you should outsource it or not do it at all

If it’s takes less than 5 mins, do it now

If it takes more time, schedule it for later on your calendar

If someone else can do it, assign it to them

If it does not fit into your mission, be direct and don’t do it

You can categorize all incoming work including emails as

- do (now)
- defer (for later)
- delegate (to someone else)
- deflect / delete (don’t do it)
