1400 words written in my next book, so close to being done. It is basically The Mummy/Hellboy. A sapphic monster romance with horror, gore, and a revenge story in 1911 Egypt.
On top of that, my book The Sanctity of Blood and Steel comes out on Friday!
My next book, The Sanctity of Blood and Steel, deals with the extremes that religion can push its followers to. It’s part of my epic fantasy series, the Nycanthium Cycle, and it feels especially topical right now with everything going on in the world. The book comes out on May 16th.
My next book is my favorite I’ve written so far. Set in 1911, it’s a sapphic monster adventure romance with a mummy (and the mummy is one half of the romance). Inspired by the Mummy, both the Brendan Fraser and the Sofia Boutella movies, it’s a fun read! I’m hoping to get it out later this year.
I haven’t written a lot this month. It’s been very difficult with multiple family health scares, and a family member just passed (it was their time, it was expected, and they passed peacefully surrounded by family, but my heart grieves anyway). I’m hoping for a gentler April.

I’m about two-thirds of the way done with my edits for next book, The Sanctity of Blood and Steel. It’s a villain story, and explores Luciya Harte’s backstory, a demonborn raised in the Priesthood of Yuichal. I’m going to be looking to send out ARC copies soon, and plan for a release in late spring.
And I have my book back from my beta reader! I’m already three chapters in, sixteen more to go! Going to be releasing more info soon.
