Six Dresden quilt blocks made from various blue, green, purple and pink fabrics. At the center of each block is a yellow circle. Each block is sewn to a square of fabric called coffee with cream.

It's too cold to do anything else so I'm working on a Dresden quilt. #quilting

It was mostly done in 2025. I only needed to square, sandwich, quilt and bind it. Still pretty quick for me though.

A quilt of various colors and patterns of blocks with strips of fabric running up and down throughout the quilt. There is a grey border and a multi colored leaf border. The quilt is on top of a grey rug

This quilt is made up of various color and tan 9 patch blocks. There is a grey border and a piano key border of the same fabrics as the 9 patch blocks.

I used the scraps from the first quilt, Wanderers Wife, and made the second one. I'm calling it the wanderers daughter. The wanderers daughter quilt is my first finish of the new year. #quilts

I have done this every year since Karen started it. The first couple of years I really needed it. After that I used it as a way to rediscover things I had forgotten. Regardless, my space stays more organized all year now thanks to the #DeclutterChallenge2026
