I think Tubi is my favorite streaming service not just because it's free but it has the closest digital approximation to going to an indie VHS movie rental place. There's real movies and so much random crap that you can really get lost in discovering all sorts of things

I'm not going to try to unpack the "TOM vs TOM 4" lore thing to you right now, but I get what you mean

On some level it's clear Moltar just wants the attention and is likewise just happy to be there

And that's just such a solid character moment for Moltar, because he says it like it doesn't even register to him that his actions would be seen as brutal. He's acting like a cat bringing Space Ghost a dead bird but it's the skin of Meatwad, it's hilarious

I like the scene in "Baffler Meal" where Moltar says "...I mangled him, [slight pause] ate him, and put on his skin as a joke." It's so dark and screwed up, it wraps back around to being funny!

And I absolutely think TOM, while objectively a lot more heroic, still has some of Moltar's bloodlust and desire to witness destructive in him, but it never really manifests for TOM as much because he's far more occupied by media than Moltar still is

Honestly I think Moltar being very open about the fact that he's driven by a sort of bloodlust, but it's also clear he's to a point that even just watching TV car stunts is enough to satisfy him enough for him to chill out, that made him a great choice to host Toonami for the first bit

Moltar is a really good character because it simultaneously makes sense that he's Zorak's best friend (other than Brak) and that Moltar still gets to be the straight man in the group 70% of the time (Space Ghost gets 20%, Zorak's 10%)

And that he ended up hosting Toonami too

We know Moltar loves Immolation, but when Moltar ended up eating both Banjo and the death seaking Baffer Meal Meatwad, it's clear that having no gripes about eating pets or sentient lifeforms, it's clear litterly eating other characters is something Moltar has in common with Zorak

One thing that's funny about Zorak and Moltar's relationship is that they are both cannibalistic, and while it's clear that canibalism is a status quo on Zorak's home planet Dokar, there's nothing indicating one way or another how it's seen in the culture Moltar is from

Man, you can tell the folks who have never been to Tubi and those who have been there for a while.

Because the ones who haven't saw that Tubi drop list and were like "Why did Tubi get all of these Flintstones spinoffs but not the original?" when the original has been there for about four years now.

I just want to praise Angela Sant’Albano for her voice work as Grace in Resident Evil Requiem.

The sound of her fear sounds very real. She really adds to the tension of the scenes.

Well, I was partially right.

Ben 10 (2005) is only the first series on Tubi and none of the connecting spinoffs.

But Justice League AND Justice League Unlimited are now both on Tubi right now.

So, get on that.

I can't blame the original series team for wanting to do as much as possible to distance themselves from the reboot because of both its quality and content, and the fact that WB marketing still thinks they are the same show comes off as very thoughtless

I feel like The Powerpuff Girls reboot is probably one of the messiest things Cartoon Network has ever produced, the team behind the original series conciter it an insult to their work, way too many people working the reboot it were being real creepy about the show one way or another

I'm saying they are screwing it up way too often and it's making me think quality control is either absent or clueless

That and more and worse and there's a good reason that the original bubbles knocking out reboot Bubbles is in the Jellystone finale, and that good reason is Craig McCracken asked them to put it in according to C. H. Greenblatt

I'm saying this after years of keeping an eye on and occasionally buying Powerpuff Girls merchandise and now I'm having to tell multiple people today "yes the Powerpuff Girls on Tubi today is original series despite the reboot art thumbnail"

It's starting to become very apparent whoever is in charge of keeping branding consistent at WB legitimately can't tell the difference between original and reboot Powerpuff Girls

The problem is most Powerpuff Girls fans can tell and usually care quite a bit

Yea, Craig McCracken mentioned this as it became a thing of Kraft Cheese sponsored it, hence all of the use of cheese in all of the episodes but due to something in the Billy and Mandy episode, they pulled out of it but yet, Cartoon Network moved forward with it regardless

Like give Cartoon Network this, they knew how to promote and hype this whole event up
