Today i've sold 17 books.

I've sold absolutely no bombs.

I think this is conclusive proof that bombs are rubbish and books are ace.

We did when we got home.

Yeah, getting older is a tricky business. Mum's 90 and ridiculously independent, but also getting a bit forgetful etc.

It's fantastic (and a bit scary).

She's got a few plans this week.

Her cleaner is coming tomorrow.

Tuesday is coffee morning at church.

Wednesday she's got an eye appointment. This one is big cos she's got to catch a bus into town by herself. But again she told me to chill out.

Anyway, she sounds on top form.

She say bye!

Mum sent Ollie a card with a bit of cash in on Friday (it's his birthday tomorrow),

Obvs it's not arrived yet. I told her not to worry, it would arrive tomorrow when Ollie was at school & that he'd open it when he got home.

I'll text her when it turns up, cos she'll only worry otherwise.

Hi Mand!

She walked to church today.

By herself!

This is cool, cos she's not done this since she was in hospital in Dec/Jan.

I was so pleased.

She was like "yeah whatever".

I know she was well happy, but she doesn't want me to make a big deal of it.

It took her a while to answer the phone cos she's left it in her walker after been to the kitchen.

Anyway, she's doing OK.

I've just been on the phone to my Mum. She says hi!

I don't.

Would you recommend it?

I usually call her about 9pm.

I won't forget!

Yes I am. After a long walk along the coast, we went ten pin bowling in Ashford. Then back to Hastings for burgers at "The Patty Guy".
