Row erg - from concept-2 - I had done lots of rowing in gyms in the past, a great low impact exercise, so I’m overjoyed to have just set my very own erg (rowing machine) up in my garage - highly recommend but they do take up a car size space (maybe half a car) - beats my bike trainer !

You can find bunch of YouTube videos of guys using them too - training directions etc, it’s been a while since I had access to one, have been meaning to get one myself too, but need some space to put it - when I get the garage organised….

The concept2 rowers (row erg) are absolutely great - there’s a rowing app that will log all your sessions too and let you take part in events I understsnd / it’s on my to buy list, but have used in gym and have ben so impressed by them

I remember going through a decision process, to take a break from a work project, either take a trip to Berlin and get myself a souvenir piece of the wall, or take that job offer in Singapore and head to Japan for the first project. I spent that Christmas in Japan in the mountains near Niigata.
