A first choice keeper can easily play all matches bar a freak injury.

Loaning him with a January break clause may be the best option.

Giving him a genuine chance of being first choice would be the only argument that I'd accept for keeping him at the club this season.

How much game time is he likely to get though?

Yes, it would be a risk but it's fairly rare that a keeper is injured, I can only think of last season's injury to Vic & Hugo back in 2019.

I'm, kind of, in favour of a loan move to Lille for Kinsky.

It's rare that the second keeper gets significant game time and it's often in rotated sides for Cup matches.

If he goes to France, he'll be a 1st choice player and get plenty of minutes.

Before the Bayern game we were a bit sad about Son going & worried about Maddison's injury but generally positive about the preseason performances.
