Super agree. even areas I think will be kinda boring, like the Ice Belt, were may more unique and cool looking.

What's amazing is that everything feels so distant and alien. A genuine sense of wonder in every area. Multiple times have I seen a thing and said aloud "Awesome".

God be with you. I'm glad that the franchise wasn't irreparably damaged from it's creation, and we've been able to heal.

Even if the story and characterization was good, the actual Metroid part of the game is boring, striped back, and trite. Samus never gets any cool meaningful upgrades or powers, and the combat is braindead.
