I think someone died by the amount of vehicles and screens arriving, really sad.

Stuck in an accident last night 100m from the scene on M60 and a few things really bothered me…

1. Amount of ghouls running down to take videos.

2. Families letting their young kids play about in the albeit parked traffic.

3. Always cretins mouthin off.

I think the pace of the league has startled him, paired with learning how others play around him, he seems quite an introvert person too so might take him a while to be himself, he’s got the quality no doubt just needs a little more belief and strength .

Start of last season, tv and media was purring over the different styles we could switch to in games to counter opponents, that seems to have gone right now.

Slot is the man, just needs to get that factor back and we will dominate teams again, it just seems very much like we are the opposite

I noticed that, looked very cumbersome when trying to close down, can accept some wayward passes but huge part of our club is closing down and winning possession back, just shadowed players without intention of really going for the ball.

Frimpong : Brilliant attacking wing back.

Kerkez : Brilliant attacking wing back.

Wirtz : Sensational attacking midfielder.

Isak : World Class striker.

Ekitike : Brilliant striker.

That’s the formation for me.

Yeah it’s like they’ve been thrown into our system from last season but they are not those type of players, Isak and Eki are getting no service, Flo is not involved much when it should be going thru him and those behind him are the engines.

Yeah he’s not been at it all season and seems absolutely hellbent on his own records than playing in better options, for me I would be now creating the team around what we invested so much in.

Deffo, it’s a lot of new faces to integrate paired with losing Jota, players have to learn each others strengths etc, the players are there it’s just getting that understanding and formation that suits them all.

Playing like a team of shadows honestly, deserved to lose that, pointless having Isak and Wirtz etc if Mo is trying to do it himself every time when players in better positions.

Might do us a favour this break because right now we don’t look a team with an idea for most parts.

I’ve noticed a lot of teams that play against us how close together their lines of defence and midfields are, literally packed areas not giving our players chance to play thru them without reverting to playing wide and round them.

Whereas we are getting caught by our def/mid being too wide.

I’m same, wake about 3-4 times in night, usually around 00:30 then couple hours later, brain just doesn’t know what it’s doing, not had a sleep in in years.

Just not happening right now.

We know why, team has to learn together and it can only happen on the pitch.

Few players look scared of getting stuck in, I think there’s a formation there that’s right for us but it might take some graft getting it firing.

They’re a very good and organised team are Palace, some excellent players, I knew if they started fast they would cause us problems, we struggle with buoyant teams/crowds but it’ll knit together soon enough.

Some individual performances have been underwhelming so far this season, but add all the new players into the mix, paired with the tragedy present players are having to deal with every day and maybe some understanding is required to why the team takes time to gel and perform as we know they will.
