Delivering Care, Opportunity, Protection for LGBTQIA+ New Yorkers LGTBIA+ New Yorkers are facing Trump’s attacks and greater impacts from the cost of living crisis. Here’s Zohran’s plan to protect them.

1. Expanding & Protecting Gender-Affirming Care Citywide Zohran will make sure every New Yorker has access to the medical treatment they need -- immediately investing $65 million in public providers & holding hospitals to account.

2. Making NYC an LGQBTQIA+ Sanctuary City No one should face persecution or be denied care on the basis of their identity. Zohran will strengthen and uphold the rights of queers and trans New Yorkers through multiple sanctuary protections.

3. Creating the NYC Office of LGBTQIA+ Affairs While Eric Adams left one person to manage all LGBTQIA+ city programs, Zohran will expand and centralize the services, programs, and support LGBTQIA+ New Yorkers across housing, employment, & more.

At last night’s Trans Community Town Hall with Ceyenne Doroshow and so many inspiring activists, I was proud to announce our plan to deliver care, opportunity, and protection for LGBTQIA+ New Yorkers.
