The United States Military Academy has just eliminated all Cadet clubs and activities for POC. Most of these have existed for decades like the Society of Black Engineers. They were there when I was a Cadet in 1987. All of the religious ones remain. This isnβt DEI. Itβs white Christian Nationalism.

Rumor is that across Memphis today lots of ESL (English as a Second Language) students were absent because there are whispers of ICE raids happening today. Several of my students are among those that did not show up today. This is not right.

Hello, my name is ___. I'm a constituent living in (City and zipcode), and I'm a voter who never misses an election. Mitch McConnell often got his caucus to block Democratic nominations. Iβm calling to ask Senator Schumer to follow suit and whip his entire caucus against the nomination of Russell Vought for head of the Office of Management and Budget. He and other Democrats should loudly demand that the nomination be withdrawn. This week's funding freeze was Voughtβs idea, and if confirmed, he'll continue pushing Project 2025's cruel agenda. The White House says it rescinded this first freeze memo, but Trump still plans to withhold congressionally approved funds, with Vought's help. Vought testified he believes the Impoundment Act is unconstitutional and suggested the Trump administration will decide whether to follow it. If he leads OMB, millions of Americans will suffer. If the nomination goes forward, I expect Senator Schumer to unify his caucus against confirmation. Not a single Democrat should vote for the chaos weβve already witnessed this week.β
