I'm about to turn 50. My first husband was a boomer, I have boomer friends, and I have 15+ years of being a live in caregiver for boomers. So drop the imagined pretense that I hate old people.

You deflect every time I make a valid point. So let me be absolutely direct. The last election was between a 78 year old, and an 81 year old. Boomers only make up 19% of the population. If we can talk about grandpa being too old to drive, we can talk about him being too old to be president.

My comment was solely about letting the next generation run the show. I never said old people shouldn't be involved. I also stated twice, that I too am old. Because I'm Gen X, not Gen Z. But keep on seeing whatever it is you think you see.

But they didn't. Because that's considered disrespectful by the new generations. Because that's how the world works today.

It's the 21st Century, and it doesn't belong to us older folk. A lot of us don't even understand how the world works today. It's time to step aside and let young adults run the show.

Thankfully the generation coming up understands how the world actually works in this century.
