This was hours after Trump said Democrats in Congress should be executed.

There's a Handmaid out here blowing a whistle, someone with an Anonymous mask on, at least one veteran, and this hardcore dude. Fuck yeah DC.

"Because 20 of us kill ourselves today."
"We go overseas and there is no enemy."
So this is happening outside of the Heritage Foundation right now
"Fuck ICE! Fuck ICE! Fuck Project 2025! Fuck Alligator Alcatraz!"
Jeffries went off on Johnson for not even having βthe decencyβ to push back on Trumpβs call for executing Dem lawmakers.
Even John Thune βhad the decencyβ to distance himself, he said, but not Johnson. βHis silence speaks volumes.β
Thune said earlier "I don't agree" with executing Dems. Which, ok.
Hakeem Jeffries says Mike Johnson is a "nice guy" but has "zero control" over House Republicans.
He brings up that Trump once said he has two titles, president and speaker of the House.
"Man, you lettin the president punk you like that? Publicly?"
Trump's call for executing Dem lawmakers comes as he's been losing all week, I imagine he's unraveling or desperate for a distraction. Just this week:
*GOP bucked him on Epstein
*GOP rebuked him on tariff rebates
*Approval rating tanked
*Big setback in Comey indictment
*Texas gerrymander backfired
Just a crazy, terrible moment to be reading a statement like this from six members of Congress:
βEvery American must unite and condemn the Presidentβs calls for our murder and political violence."
βThis is a time for moral clarity.... We will continue to lead and will not be intimidated."
The Dem lawmakers who made the video Trump is flipping out about issued a joint statement.
βWhatβs most telling is that the President considers it punishable by death for us to restate the law. Our servicemembers should know that we have their backs as they fulfill their oath to the Constitution."
The White House's clean-up strategy here is just pretending Dems urged service members to defy legal orders, not illegal ones.
WH press sec: βTo suggest and encourage that active duty service members defy the chain of command is a very dangerous thing for sitting members of Congress to do."
UPDATE: The White House press secretary responded to all this by saying Trump isn't the one inciting violence by calling for the execution of Democratic lawmakers -- it's the Democrats inciting violence.
Really. www.huffpost.com/entry/trump-...
A bit ago on the Senate floor, Chuck Schumer said "every senator, every representative, every Americanβregardless of partyβshould condemn this immediately and without qualification."
"Because if we donβt draw a line here, then there is no line left to draw." www.huffpost.com/entry/trump-...
In its section on punishments for service members who are "willfully disobeying superior commissioned officer," the manual also states a clear exception, on page 334:
"...does not apply to a patently illegal order, such as one that directs the commission of a crime."
Page 28 of the U.S. militaryβs 2024 manual for courts-martial:
A military order is lawful, βunless it is contrary to the Constitution, the laws of the United States, or lawful superior orders or for some other reason is beyond the authority of the official issuing it.β
Contrary to Trump's dangerous tirade, U.S. military service members have a right to refuse illegal orders and even a duty to do so.
Everyone in the military swears an oath to the Constitution, not to a particular president of the United States or anyone else in the chain of command.
I haven't seen a single Republican in Congress condemning Trump's call to hang/execute Democrats in Congress.
Any of you out there?
In a joint statement, House Democratic leaders said they have contacted the House Sergeant at Arms and the U.S. Capitol Police to ensure the safety of the six Democrats and their families because of Trump's messages.
20.11.2025 17:16 β π 130 π 44 π¬ 3 π 1And still another message from Trump today, saying "an example MUST BE SET" by apparently arresting and putting on trial these six Democrats in Congress for urging servicemembers to disobey unlawful orders.
