Overall, building size and cultural preferences, including bedroom and bathroom sizes, drive material use. We also found a strong signal that security concerns (e.g. fears of war, terrorism) drive up material use.

With a few exceptions, most streetcar routes share the road with cars, which can leave transit lines paralyzed in traffic - a scene that played out most recently on King Street, but is regularly seen throughout the city where cars and streetcars battle for priority.
