Trump: Iran was two weeks from nuclear bomb
President Trump, speaking at the White House on Wednesday, has said of the attacks on Iran: “If we didn’t hit within two weeks they would have had a nuclear weapon.
“When crazy people have nuclear weapons, bad things happen.”
Oh yeah, I remember 2002.

Then if one cancellation - not uncommon with Thameslink - people can't get on Southeastern as running 5 car trains at times in the peak as they lack stock

Rail links to Kent need an uplift.
Abbey Wood rammed as people leave Liz line and there's a 20-30 minute wait for onward links to north Kent.
This was after ten mins. Got a lot busier. Worse thing is roads are gridlocked outside as many won't risk long wait for onward trains

Love seeing a bit of Network SouthEast red poking through.
Superb work they did before privatisation.
Could GBR do it again? Depends on funding and autonomy from the DfT.

Woolwich pub that the owner is seeking to demolish for the second time.
Add a floor or two and all's good. No imagination. No interest in the town or its history.

Shopfront in Greenwich market.
I wish I could play an instrument. I blame Abbey Wood school music lessons for being utter shite.

The big volume housebuilders are again asking for taxpayer/govt props to help their margin.
Sorry I mean to "help first time buyers".
Same old drivel we've had for years that led us to the problem we now have.

Cycle lane works in Charlton with a Superloop pictured on the way to Abbey Wood.
New homes seen to the right. Plans trickling in for an adjacent plot of 200 further homes.

The massive street level led advertising "towers" can get in the sea too

Rumours that Labour are bringing back Help to Buy.
A moronic, idiotic policy that benefits volume developers and screws younger people as it pushes house prices far faster than wages.
If they do it, shame on the likes of Matt Pennycook. He will deserve to lose his seat. Reprehensible policy.

I've been out today taking hundreds of photos for posts on the website. Yep, hundreds.
For me it's a source of pride to have genuine photos.
Then you see big corporate sites use Google images. I do it on occasion but christ for them (Newsquest and Reach) it's all they do. Never out on the ground

Labour have not been great with housing since the election. Affordable Housing Programme funds over this Parliament are little different to last Tory govt in real terms.
But doing this? Nail in the coffin of a party that has any ideas, any clue or any interest in solving housing crisis.

I will personally campaign against Pennycook if he supports this. Will highlight contantly how abysmal this policy is on the site.
A truly dismal idea and if Labour do bring back Help to Buy v2 any MP or cllrs who support it needs to be voted out.

We know this govt has already let off volume developers by forcing out the head of the CMA investigating price collusion.
Policies to help them like Help to Buy v2 will look VERY dodgy.
