My husband - an employee at the National Science Foundation - was fired yesterday. This is awful, and there's so much more I could share about the terrible, legally compromised, dysfunctional way it happened.

But I'm less scared about our personal future than I am for the future of this country.

Accusing NSF employees of lawlessness is profoundly unhelpful. These people are being threatened with a 50% reduction in force and having their employment status manipulated by OPM so it's easier to fire them. Please keep the focus where it belongs - on the Elonald Mump administration.
