There was for me!
2025 temperature blanket complete. I'm really happy with how it turned out and the way it fits with the color scheme in my bedroom. I had all of it knit by January 1st except for the edge because I ran out of black Berocco Vintage yarn. So I had to special order it in and it only arrived this week.
What does 2 lbs of clay look like? This...

Annnnd... A moon catcher?
And if the stained glass is a sun catcher then would this be a mooncatcher? Or a rain catcher? Or an earth catcher? Maybe a fire catcher?
Because it reminds me of the phases of the Moon, I'm going to go with mooncatcher. Made with wild clay from a few places in the PNW
Suncatcher done! (Made with reminants of test cuts from a stained glass class)
John Waters Christmas Special at the Rio with Gerry Cartwright Reeves and Kurtis Reeves Cartwright
I kept my remnants from the practice cutting at the fused glass workshop this weekend. And now I'm going to make a little suncatcher/wind chime.

Firing the wild clay. If you look at the base of the fire, you can see some of the pieces and some of the containers that are holding other pieces. And my favorite part... Marshmallows! 😋
