Huge fan of KyoAni, Dark Souls, Type-Moon, Xeno series, Tatsuki Fujimoto, and Yoko Taro. Also into Precure, Gundam, Macross, NISIOISIN, LGBTQ manga (mostly yuri), and music anime. English/Español. Slowly learning 日本語. https://anilist.co/user/Eder/

October 19
I like how Desil gets to live on through Zeheart & has way more scenes as a not-Newtype ghost haunting Zeheart for being an idiot who never does what he actually wants. The greater & totally not gay focus between Zehart & Asemu was nice too.
80. FLIP FLAPPERS
October 12
I liked how this show would blend genres together to make some really wacky and wild episodes. Also, what did they mean by blending Class S with horror and it becomes necessary to break out of the Class S tropes to make any real progress? This could mean anything.
79. Mean Girls (2004) (rewatch)
October 11
I've seen this movie so many times & it never fails to make me laugh. Regina is such a hilarious character. She's like the embodiment of all the bad popular girl stereotypes without being too edgy about it & Caddy following in her footsteps is too funny.
78. Alien: Earth
October 10
I like this significantly more than most Alien movies. It's got a really cool ideas even if it doesn't fully explore all of them because they sequel baited hard. I really think they needed one or two more episodes finish. They really don't need an entire second season.
77. Cultural Exchange with a Game Centre Girl
September 29
Really good show for Japanese listening. There is a lot of fairly simple Japanese & I understood quite a bit without subtitles. I really wish it had more focus on cultural exchange & less on being a romcom. The actual show is very whatever.
76. YAIBA: Samurai Legend
September 27
It's very a straightforward show about training, powering up, saving friends, and beating up bad guys. It is kind of hilarious to think about how none of this would have ever happened if the main character wasn't constantly such a prick to his would-be rival.
75. Rascal Does Not Dream of Santa Claus
September 27
I really gotta appreciate how Rascal is able to keep adding characters and keep them around without ever losing focus. It's in large part due to how its structured around arcs, but it is nice how no one ever feels completely irrelevant.
Gotta love how, even in a comedy anime, my chud son must always suffer.

September 26
The anime got to where I started really liking the manga and it was awesome. The greater focus on loving your hobbies along with the introduction of a very supportive and positive cast of role models is what made me love the manga.
73. New PANTY & STOCKING with GARTERBELT
September 25
S2 of Panty & Stocking is just more Panty & Stocking. Thank you Trigger for somehow bringing this degeneracy back. It's probably the most fun I had with any show this season. The experimental af episodes were probably the highlights for me.
72. Bad Girl
September 23
I wasn't sure I would actually finish this, but I got a few laughs out of this. Atori and Suzu definitely carried the show for me. Atori is a funny character and Suzu is a really good tsukkomi.
71. There's No Freaking Way I'll Be Your Lover! Unless…
September 23
I'm already a fan of the manga, so I'm glad the anime was also good. The anime ended exactly where I wanted. I couldn't stop laughing. I'm hyped to see Kaho's arc animated. It's rare for yuri to get anything beyond one cour.
70. Turkey!
September 23
I can't believe the show I wanted to drop at the start of the season ended up being my favorite of the season. I went from tears of boredom at the start to actual tears by the end. I'm glad I kept up with this bizarre bowling anime. The second half was especially great.
It does feel good to have a new goal that revitalized my motivation. I feel excited to study again. Because it really might be faster to learn enough JP to read and catch up to the JP web novel than it would be to wait for hundreds of chapters to be translated because I'm not touching the MTLs.
23.09.2025 00:22 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0I want to be able to start reading it in JP from the start towards the end of the year if possible. If not then hopefully before spring of next year. Then I can start slowly catching up the JP web novel next year, not that I actually expect to be fully caught up with the WN by the end of next year.
23.09.2025 00:18 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0I've been slacking on learning Japanese the past few weeks. I lost a lot of motivation to keep up with my studies between moving, anime con, getting sick, & my reviews piling up. My motivation is back now! I caught up to the EN fan translation of Shuukura & found out about how far the original is.

September 21
Conceptual this show is cool. It also has a lot of concepts that could have been really cool. But it's like they're crushing three 50 episode long Gundams into one 49 episode long Gundam. They don't have the time or the competency to make those ideas good.
68. The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1
September 19
Continuing the Twilight group watch. I couldn't make it to the third film but apparently I didn't miss out on much. Anyways, all I got out of this movie is that vampire pregnancy is scary and Meyer must have really wanted to write smut.
67. Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection 'F' (rewatch)
September 19
It has it's funny moments, but I can't say I like this anywhere near as much as Battle of Gods. The Freeza song was pretty hype though.
66. Necronomico and the Cosmic Horror Show
September 17
I wasn't too keen on this show at the start, but it grew on me. Big fan of how weird and wacky anime originals have been recently. This show was certainly anything but normal.
65. SAKAMOTO DAYS Part 2
September 15
I enjoyed this more than the first cour. The action got a lot better, and it wasn't entirely due to the animation being better either. The arc Part 2 ended on was a lot of fun too.
64. Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle Part 1
September 13
It's more Demon Slayer. It's fine, but I think I would have preferred this if it was split up into episodes instead of a super long movie. At least it was cool seeing ufotable action on the big screen.
63. Call of the Night (manga)
September 10
I like it's fairly unique concept for vampires, amazing art & panels, & the two leads' clumsy relationship with each other. The last two arcs with the Kiku conflict & Nazuna sorting out her feelings were my favorites. Big fan of the ending too.
I also can't get over how the only other thing Flit hates besides the Vagans and anyone who helps them is his chud son.
15.09.2025 15:54 — 👍 2 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0I still can't over how Flit is a Gundam protagonist. I get what Gundam AGE is trying to go with his character, but it's almost comedic seeing a Gundam protagonist being like this their entire life.
