Om archief over spionnen van het verzet te raadplegen moet je eerst langs Staatsveiligheid: “Wij passen alleen de wet toe” Duizenden archiefstukken over de spionnen van het verzet in de Tweede Wereldoorlog, die dertig jaar vlot en voor zowat iedereen toegankelijk waren, zijn dat sinds kort niet meer. “We passen alleen de wet toe”, zegt de Staatsveiligheid.

Dit is absurd. Het gaat om 80 jaar geleden. Frustreer het werk niet van mensen die de helden van het verzet willen eren. Maak deze stukken terug openbaar.

Een absolute schande. Sancties, onmiddellijk. Het Belgisch parlement moet dan maar ingrijpen als de regering geen stappen neemt. Dat Bouchez de boel wil blokkeren, gokkend op de particratie en partijdiscipline, is geen geldig excuus meer voor inertie vanwege Vooruit, Cd&V en les Engagés.

Over welk internationaal recht hebben wij het hier? Als er nu iets aan het verkruimelen is, is het wel de internationale rechtsorde. Als het meenens is, kan de EU het associatieverdrag met Israël opzeggen en het Internationaal Strafhof duidelijker verdedigen tegen sancties.
