Americans are very unserious about fighting fascism. Some of this discourse is Third Period KPD levels of absurd.

These are separate things. I think Talarico built up a large online following prior to the election. I have European colleagues that saw his videos more than a year ago discussing Christian Nationalism, and clearly he planned for a long time to run. He ran a better campaign, & first mover advantage

If you run half a campaign compared to your opponent then you will likely lose. This is how Biden screwed over Harris from jump. Half a campaign is starting from behind.

Add not having a campaign manager and normal campaign staff you are asking for defeat and making it so much harder to win.

People pushing sitting out campaigning for the Texas Senate Democratic Nominee are just doing exactly what people who refused to campaign and vote for Harris did. It wasn’t cute then, it isn’t cute now.

Crockett literally doesn’t even have a campaign manager and entered the race three months after Talarico.

Like what are we doing here? The core focus is wiping out MAGA coast to coast. This is an all hands on deck situation.

Talarico has literally been in the Texas State House for eight years.

We can’t clean up Washington without restoring integrity to the Supreme Court.

That’s why I believe we should expand the Supreme Court to 13 justices. And then, institute term limits.

Because an appointment to the Supreme Court shouldn’t mean a lifetime lack of accountability.

Talarico leads but Crockett goes to court in Democratic Texas Senate race shocker The race remains too close to call, but the upstart Democrat whose been praised by Stephen Colbert and Joe Rogan leads as results pour in

It's kind of surprising how despite living in a completely different state with different dynamics, James Talarico basically replicated Zohran Mamdani's coalition:
-Latinos
-Young people in the cities
-Asian-Americans
-Upper-class high-educated whites

Someone needs to campaign on sending Henry Cuellar to jail.

I wonder when/if Europe realizes that Trump sees Greenland in the exact same way he sees Iran. If anything he's much more interested in Greenland and just got distracted by Iran

Shelly Willingham and Nasif Majeed, two other Democratic lawmakers who also joined the GOP to help pass conservative priorities (though not the specific ICE bill I'm talking about here), also lost to progressive challengers tonight.

The Feds Targeted Charlotte. Now a Local Democrat Who Helped ICE Faces Voters. - Bolts North Carolina lawmaker Carla Cunningham voted to mandate compliance with ICE, and derided immigrants on the House floor. The Democrat faces an intense March primary.

JUST IN: North Carolina's Dem lawmaker Carla Cunningham gave the GOP the decisive vote to pass a law forcing police to comply with ICE. She said "all cultures are not equal."

She just lost reelection BIG in the Dem primary to a progressive pastor & activist, Rodney Sadler. 70% to 22%!

Yeah, her running for half the time Talarico did and not having a campaign manager were bad choices and made it a much harder race for herself. Self-inflicted too.

Yep, You can see from the maps the district barely changed and Crockett’s pastor is going to win the seat in November.

Crockett took a big risk to enter the Senate race late, but that is not connected to the Gerrymandering.

Also Crockett is literally a religious Baptist. Which is a far more conservative church than mainline Presbyterians like Talarico.

According to a first-in-the-nation, exclusive database I built for @thexylom.com, Florida's top public research universities hired 375 H-1B skilled workers in the first nine months of the previous fiscal year.

This is going to be an abject disaster for Florida's higher education innovation:

Also a sea border is still a border. The Black Sea isn’t that big, the Ottomans learned this repeatedly.

Yeah like I'm not being funny but they do literally remember when Russia was still run by people who literally claimed that they have an inherited right to rule Istanbul.

I'm sure this will go great. And it's not like one of the big foreign policy controversies of Trump's first term was his total betrayal of the Kurds or anything.

Crockett’s seat was not Gerrymandered. It is actually one of the Safest D seats in Texas.
