Yes!! I took him to our most private, half moon booth & he acted like I’d drug him to Hell. I wondered if maybe a littler person wouldn’t like to sink in? So I redirected him to a private 4-top. He was so mad at me my manager made me stay away from the area, then hide in his office when he left 🫣

Oh that is sad. I could feel it came from a painful place, so I didn’t say anything back to him.

The first time I was working as a hostess at a different restaurant, and he didn’t like my first OR second seating suggestion. He wanted the biggest table in the center of the room, duh. Party of 4.

I don’t know what made him that way, but he left a bruise on my arm before he went back to his lifted truck.

Deeply unhappy guy, I suspect.

I was 18, working at Friday’s as a hostess. He grabbed me & made me rec a salad. I’d only had one, (& I told him that!) but he ordered it & took it out to his truck. 10mins later he came back in & I was leaning against the bar. He climbed up & screamed that it was the worst salad he’d ever had. 🫠

I do suspect my height immediately started us off on the wrong foot, unfortunately.

I want to tell the story about how the actor Gary Coleman, from Diff’rent Strokes, etc. (“whatchu talkin’ bout Willis”) yelled right in my face TWICE at two different jobs of mine.

But he has since passed. Does that mean I keep it to myself forever? 👉👈

It always makes me a tiny bit emotional when my kids come home talking about some woman they learned about in history. For me it was always HIStory.
