Fight the one who votes with tbe GOP, not the entire Democratic party. Dems should turn out for Dems because we make things better for everyone when we have the majority. I am so sick of the whining and the threats of those who think not voting is ever an option, it only hurts those of us who care.

Ask any Black woman who has cried over her husband's body, patched up her son's bruises, fought off white male aggression, suffered under the wrath of white women whose houses she cleaned, looked at the remnants of the burned out church she attended and the community she lived in...etc.

Democrats must use what leverage? They don't have the House, the Senate, the White House or the Supreme Court. I know many Dems are saying don't blink and the GOP will take the blame and I know those yelling the loudest will be okay if it does. My party, the Dems, knows the enormity of a shutdown on a huge number of its constituents and I'm hopeful they will not let it happen to those who won't recover.
