Same here. Exact same. The last company they were so strict about so many stupid things and there were so many people that were so burnt out and would work extra and kill themselves. They don't want you to do that here. It's like night and day.

But because there's so much to do they've been offering extra money to do extra time. I just haven't found days that I want to do it yet. I probably will at some point but like right now I'm training my friend so maybe soon after that. We'll see.

Yeah I got moved from one division to another around May or so and I didn't want to go because I liked where I was but where I went it's a lot more laid back and everything is late so it's not as stressful or demanding. You could only do what you can do so they're laid back and I'm happy with that.

Fast forward to yesterday, my little baby is a senior now & he’s officially committed to ULL! Last night was their homecoming game & he got honored. When he invited me to walk him down the field, we cried together. I shared this to say.. that Black boy you labeled a YN really just needs a hug.

When he got to HS, he wanted to play football but his mom wouldn’t help him pay for any of his fees or buy his stuff he needed. He mentioned wanting to get out the streets so to help keep him from going back I gave him the money he needed. When he turned 16, he got a job to pay for his stuff.

He opened up about how his mom hates his dad and because he looks just like his dad, she hates him and she’s very vocal about it. He was in the street because his mom told him “figure it out”. I noticed he like football. The ball he would play with was flat & raggedy, I brought him a new one.

There’s a young Black boy in my neighborhood that most people would describe as a YN but he was always friendly & respectful to me. I would give him snacks after school & ask about his day. when he was in 7th grade, one day I randomly asked him “what’s making your heart so sad?”

My community is the Black and Jewish Alliance because I can’t even stand the rest of everyone. LOL

Unbelievable. I've seen people going back from lunch where they're completely drunk and you can smell it on them. In the office too. Somebody who clearly had a really bad drinking problem and was just drinking all the time at work. As someone who's sober for over 20 years I have a sensor lol.

Yeah I want to get my stuff done and just chill lol. Where I work now the work doesn't end and it's too much to finish so I just get an acceptable amount done and then just do what I can. I'm not trying to work extra.
