Man ser denne «logikken» i oljefondet sin vurdering av klimarisiko. En strukturell krymping av økonomien er aldri nevnt.
Mange vil nok bli overrasket når de skjønner hvordan økonomer regner inn hvordan global oppvarming påvirker økonomien.
Man antar først at BNP vokser 2-3% i året, for alltid(!). Så, for hver grad oppvarming, 0.2-0.3C per tiår, antas en 10-20% reduksjon av GDP (ikke- lineær skadefunksjon).
