I have three screens for working at home.

I like to say it’s so I can have spreadsheets open across all three, but in reality it’s so I can put YouTube ‘videos for cats’ on one screen each morning to keep one of my unpaid interns busy.

He’s never actually seen a mouse - I suspect he’d run a mile.

I’ve been lucky enough to visit Rome’s Colosseum several times over the years, and yet only on today’s visit did I find out that the Colosseum has a cat flap.

The San Siro before the Champions League game between Inter and RB Leipzig. The stadium lights are dimmed as the fans raise their phone torches. Like a Coldplay concert but with more Italian swear words.

The San Siro is such an iconic stadium, especially for old folk like me who remember Italia 90. Brilliant to finally visit.

Plus a beer and a hot dog at the football. An alien world to Scotland. The Italian reaction to a sad burnt pie and a tepid Bovril would be quite the sight.

Over there, the ‘For You’ feed is really ‘For You To Get Angry At’, whereas here the Discover tab is people warmly talking about books, albums and their all-time favourite pre-lunchtime biscuit. The relief is palpable. Overall, I mean. Not just in terms of biscuits.
