Det innebär att bostadsområdets socioekonomiska status fångar in skillnader även när man tar hänsyn till individens socioekonomiska position (och massa andra individuella faktorer). Det finns en koppling till debatten om grannskapseffekter, och kanske att detta kan bidra med lite data och insikter!

Och för vaccination ses spegelvänd bild, större chans för vaccination ses bland de som bor i områden med goda förutsättningar även inom dessa grupper

En intressant observation är att dessa skillnader även ses inom specifika grupper, t.ex. låginkomstgrupper födda i Sverige eller utomlands.

Hela Sveriges vuxna befolkning följdes under perioden då COVID-19 var klassad som en samhällsfarlig sjukdom, och personer som bor i de områden med bäst socioekonomiska förhållanden hade 34% lägre risk att hamna på sjukhus jämfört med de som bor i de mest eftersatta områdena
