I should remember this. I am enjoying the Islanders currently. Though, they didn't get rid of all of my favorite players. I do miss Brock though.

At the end of the day, some people will be very excited for 2026. I'm sure our roster will be better built and that all of the holes will be sufficiently addressed, but my excitement has diminished. It's never been about winning. If it was wouldn't I have switched to the Yankees when I was a teen?

It took me until 2023 to really begin enjoying Lindor. I missed Rosario. I think that I'm in for a little bit of pain this season. Winning is supposed to heal that, but it's never been all about winning for me. One team a year wins. I'm here for the characters and the stories as much as winning.

People are going to really enjoy the 2026 season. Change is great.

I think that my idea of success is not what David Stearns or the Mets organization cares about. I am not a baseball GM. I am on the spectrum and I hate change.

Hopefully they all sign elsewhere and we can cheer for this kids. I don't want any of these guys. I don't care.
