We would go to food banks, but with only the hourly bus to go by and both myself and my mom being disabled, it's not exactly the easiest thing to do. When my sister gets back from Canada she can help with that, but until then we'll just have to make do with what we have already.

The good news is we got food stamps early. The bad news is that it's only half of our usual allotment, and what we usually get doesn't cover a whole month between three people. Gotta start living lean for the time being.

Does anyone else have Peak and want to play together sometime? I won't be able to talk in-game but I'm trying to get past my social anxiety by doing activities with others sometimes so that I stop feeling like I'm dying any time I interact with other human beings, lol.

Going to have to take my cat into the vet due to some stomach issues, so all my adopts are available for $15 each/ pay what you want. If you'd like a new character now's a great opportunity, and it would help me out a lot!

So this butterfly enclosure is typically used for whenever my beardie, Charlie, gets the zoomies, but lately whenever it's unoccupied and open, Oz puts himself in self-imposed "baby jail". He knows what he did, lol.

Other than my hand occasionally moving/rotating the canvas by accident, it feels basically just like the desktop version. I do need to get more brushes to use. I also pulled out my drawing glove to use, which helps. The pen is smaller but not annoying to use, so all in all, it's nice.

My mom got a new tablet for her birthday, and she let me put my art program on it so I can draw freely while watching streams. So here's my first full drawing, featuring Averill! Colors might be a bit of because I was drawing from memory and can't color-pick, lol.

I had an idea. She also has a sister that I have yet to design. Nothing finalized, but something to work off of.

My desire to make an uma OC is only matched by my dislike of drawing humans and designing outfits. It was cool reading about the design logic behind their appearances though.

You ever just finish playing a game and feel so emotional over it that you just want to lay down on the floor and become one with the carpet? Because I sure do right now. 😭

Man, why do a lot of my favorite games have to be ones that cause me unnecessary stress? Like I love them and they stick in my brain between playthroughs, but man, are they hell on my nerves. A few are choice-based, some musical, some adventure, but gameplay or narratives psych me out sometimes.

So I've got almost every box full of Pokemon in Scarlet, the majority being shinies. I've been arranging them slowly to sort out my dupes, so once I've done that and my boxes are 100% full, I'd love to trade for things I don't have. I'll be sure to show what I have when I'm open for trading.

These would also take the shape of whatever would be the most likely to trigger protective instincts (children, animals, an elderly person, etc). If it fails to lure people with its main gimmick, or if it's desperate, it will come out of its burrow and lure prey to isolated spaces and attack.

Monster idea: a mimic/angler that pretends to be a person stuck in a crevasse (which is actually the monster's gaping maw), luring people in with its cries for help. When someone grabs on to them, they pull them into their mouth and swallow them whole, like a Venus flytrap.

Yeah, my mom quit cold turkey because of the arterial issues she had surgery for. And I'm thankfully not sick at the moment, but I do have the unfortunate effects from that still lingering. I don't think I'd be okay if I got it a second time.

Aw thanks. I just caught some smoke from the hall when I was grabbing a delivery earlier and it reminds me why I hate cigarettes, lol. I'm glad my mom quit smoking.

Man, COVID really messed my respiratory system. I got past the environmental asthma of my childhood but then getting sick at the end of 2023 just brought back a different version of it. Now if I cough even a little I feel so exhausted. I gotta get an inhaler.

TIL that Sherma is male and Shakra is female. Lol, I had no idea (the voices got me, but then again a lot of masculine sounding bugs are labeled as female and vice versa so playing it by ear doesn't work). It's nothing game-affecting but more like an "Oooh" moment.
