We're learning some new techniques for the embroidery machine and my husband just got so overwhelmed he fell asleep.

There's a bookstore near me that is the same, but only when one particular person is working. They're...very good.

we are already over halfway thru small business saturday, when almost everything in my store is 35% off! after this, that discount will decrease to 25% until december 10th, so today is the best day to get your hands on some super cute and comfy ethically made clothing with huge pockets!

collage collection: a variety of bolo ties, pendants, a heart, a paw and some cufflinks all made from overlapping spiral cane. i get cane that has a twisty pattern and chop it up with more of different colors and combine them and melt them together into a single solid piece, resulting in something that really reminds you that though glass is solid now it was liquid once and remembers what it is like to flow

earring collection: a variety of earrings in mottled colors, swirling colors and one trans pride pair

the cluster collection, which consists of murrine (patterned cane that shows images or designs through the middle when sliced; if you've ever bought cookie dough that you slice a log of and see a picture of a snowman in the middle it's the same basic concept) that i have clustered together in either an abstract blob shape or a circle with a hole for a cord. i don't heat these to high enough temperatures for them to be totally flush, they are bumpy, but rounded

I love sending my ID to PayPal so they'll update my name for them to send me an email telling me they've done it, but when I log in it still has my deadname.

Did not stay to watch the parade right after. It's chilly out there!

We had book page flowers in vases made of books, and the table numbers, seating chart, and place settings were all made of library due date cards. The place settings double as bookmarks.

It just made sense to us to go all the way in lol

Getting married at the library and having staff say they've never seen a couple lean in so much on the library theme...

Remember, if you accidentally misgender or deadname someone, it's very easy to just say "Shit, sorry," and then say the correct name or pronoun.

The two important follow-ups are to not rend your garments and make it all about you and to then also make sure you work hard on not doing it again.

I keep flip flopping between "unreasonable anxiety" and "reasonable anxiety". It's the same amount of anxiety either way, but sometimes I feel like it's justified and sometimes I feel like I'm being silly. Love this for me haha

It's November 2nd and we bought Christmas wrapping paper because I was worried they'd run out of the "fun" ones if we didn't get it when we saw it.
