I understand military satellite mapping. In a former life, I analyzed images to provide decision makers a clear picture of conditions on the ground.

Targets adjacent to hospitals, schools, etc., are not valid targets. To ignore proximity, and to loosen rules of engagement to make it possible to ignore proximity, is a war crime.
