I’m still taking vacation from work despite not going anywhere. So I’ll use the next week to relax, heal and get caught up on things. 2025 has been wearing on me so this’ll be a good opportunity to forget some stress.

Sadly had to cancel my trip to see me mum. I’m still sick (going on a month now!) and I don’t want to risk getting her sick due to her age and recent hospital visit. She was bummed but understood my decisions. 😔

It’s a mad rush to get some final spot checks done on some machinery before I’m off for the week from work. If I time manage my workflow I should be able to get all my work done so when I get back it should be manageable upon my return. TBC.

Got around to watching the latest season of “Gen V”. Sadly it’s going the same direction as the last season of “The Boys”. It’s tolerable but I can see myself tuning out if there’s a season 3. A shame really. 🤷‍♂️

Work scheduling has been reduced to one shift for the rest of the month due to no coverage for those taking vacation. New Manager failed to convince others to swap shifts. As a result we being pushed hard & no OT to finish up. 😪
