Juno rocked idly as she thought to herself…

“ Hmm… the main way I exercise my abilities… More than anything, my training on Mars was focused on getting used to combat in my suit. Airborne races, target practice, exertion tests… “

She realized she hasn’t done much ‘training’ since she arrived.

Juno had complicated feelings about the state of her home being mentioned so casually and in such a way, she made a pitiful face.

“ I-I suppose… Lucheng put a lot of resource into our colony… but I do see how outside help could have aided us.. “

Studying Vendetta’s body language strengthened her anxiety. She shrugged it off as much as she could manage…

She glanced to the side as she gave an awkward laugh, being vulnerable when you’re also quite the over-thinker can lead to some… passionate results.

She struggled to contain her excitement, their energy bounced back and forth off of each other slowly building up.

“ Oh moons, that sounds marvelous! I can never get enough of my tours of Earth… I wish to see it all someday! Please, show me every corner and inch of your favorite places!

She appreciated the gesture regardless of her anxieties. As anxious as it made her she wanted to improve.

Juno gave him a joyful smile and her cheeks were rosy, she orbited in the air around him, truthfully forgetting the weight terran's hold to the offer sometimes... she was still quite timid in her initial invitation anyhow.

" Oh, hooray! "

Juno clasped his hand.

Juno fluttered a little nervous to reach Anran's bar during a training session...

" A-are you sure that I am fit for that sort of thing...? "

Her face was red asking such a question anyway, but she was very intimidated by her blazing passion.

She says this, as if someone asking to be her valentine wouldn’t make her an embarrassed mess.

“ Valentine’s day is such a beautiful holiday! Expressing your love for those who are close is a wonderful feeling! “

As the time ran out a few seconds later she plummeted to the ground making a noisy thud. She was vulnerable and already weakened from the impact.

The space cadet yelped again as the guns were shot, her sudden jump caused her to become displaced from her steady position. She spun in the air for a moment as her boots took her movement to be invitation to activate.

Out of sheer luck she dodged the bullets, >>

She had a faint smile recalling the few times she did not listen to these warnings and promptly had her days ruined.

Her words were broken up by trembling, but she fully believed what she said. The guards outside had to of noticed right? They can call someone for her.

She stared intently but her expression showed her fear… not that it wasn’t obvious how scared she was.

As his claw loosened Juno folded her knee to her stomach and kicked the staggered man, pushing herself out from under him. The resonant sting of the clutch making her face burn up. She was breathing heavily, she readied her blaster as she did her absolute best to keep her distance… >>

>> making the backpack she laid on start to rattle. Two small targeting torpedos shot from under her back, they both beeped rapidly as they targeted directly at her attacker's masked face. As they finally went off they shot blinding light pulsars towards the Reaper.

The pain was sharp. The world seemed to be in slow motion elongating the sensation. Juno tried her best to not focus on the feeling as she struggled to pull her arm up to the small screen on her other wrist. After a minute that felt like an hour, she managed to tap a button on the screen, >>

Juno remembered the images of mechanical horses she had been starry-eyed over... A few of the members of Overwatch had told her about the Colosseo but it's very likely they left out key details for her sake.

Juno eased as it was shown there was seemingly no danger, she nodded and removed her hands from her weapon and brought them together in an anxious fidget instead.

" Y-yes! I have heard some mention from my acquaintances... but otherwise, >>

( junos silly exclamations are so important to me. its how i keep her whimsy in even serious scenes. shes very smart and capable but. shes also silly. this cannot be changed. )

The martian held her breath as she flew towards her equipment and very luckily she was able to snatch it.

She didn't stop moving and tried to throw it on as she struggled to outrun her pursuer. The routine of equipping it was much harder in high speed movement. >>

She struggled to figure out how to approach the meeting, so she did so as positively as she could.
