My favorite kind of music involves strong, melodic vocals, and very clear motifs. So it's a bit embarrassing, but most of what I listen to is videogame music.

Problems that can be solved by simply talking openly and communicating, are the most frustrating thing I can ever see in media. Just talk. Just share. It's not worth fighting over nothing.

Learning at least a little self defense, how to block and redirect a strike, how to get someone off of you, is very important.

I'm personally a battle obsessed weirdo, but it is something useful, in case things go wrong.

Talent is real, but I feel calling people talented is usually a slight insult. As someone who's been working for 15 years to be semi-decent at what I do, to have it handwaved as "natural talent" feels wrong.

I think it's always worth trying to do something creative (like learning to draw, make music, write stories, make models), even if it 'sucks', or you feel you can't. The joy of creation is universal, and should be shared.

Always make sure you have a bunch of spices and sauces on hand (I like soy sauce, chili powder, cumin and garlic), a little extra flavor can help bland food immensely.

I think the single most important things animation can have are rhythm, proper impact, and good camera angles. If you don't have all three, you fucked up.
