This is the result of collapsing America’s vast strategic capabilities into one man’s ego, where raw force replaces nuanced and diplomacy is reduced to doubling down on what ever he said yesterday, no matter the outcome.
It’s astonishing how each day of this stupid presidency worsen exponentially.
When asked who he would like to rule Iran, Trump responded: «Most of the people we had in mind are dead. Now we have another group, they may be dead also, based on reports. Pretty soon we’re not going to know anybody.»
Satire strikes best when it’s both painfully true and wildly absurd — like when Trumps «Board of Peace» and its members gets presented as the cast of an 80s soap opera, while state sponsored violence, bombs and explosions rage in the background.
Not even ten days has passed since Trump assembled some of the worlds most autocratic and corrupt regimes in his first meeting of the «Board of Peace» members club.
Now the worlds most corrupt soul attacks Iran while someone is hard at work siphon $10Bn of tax payer money to his organisation.

By any normal standard, this is insane. Now it barely occupies a second of our daily scroll.
And I truly feel bad about branding these people like so. But at this point they aren’t just «doing their job»; they are deliberately using every woken hour to demolish, crash and obliterate the very fabric of a functioning democracy.
They fit quite neatly into two groups: trolls and monsters.
The Troll’s role is the influencer, to stir up an ocean of rage, hate, chaos and confusion. The Monster’s job is to quickly act on it, while people and institutions are unstable, catching up.
It’s political blitzkrieg.
