WinStitch, PCSTITCH, and KG-CHART (which apparently has changed a whole lot from when I started using it ages ago) are 3 cross stitch specific programs. WinStitch and PCSTITCH both have free trials so you can play with them to see what you like. Good luck!

I've only done Wooble kits. The first to try it out. The next because I /needed/ the LotR collectors set. 😆 They're fine, though I wish they would include print patterns instead of just the digital.

I use the Clover Amour hoks and they're kind of in between. I've also used Boye and Susan Bates. Of those 2, I prefer the Susan Bates. So, sharp heads for me, I guess. 😆

Not my favorite by itself. Too gappy. I did have one pattern that called for it followed by a single crochet that forced the stitch out and gave it a nice texture.

I need musical recommendations that were adapted well from stage to screen or a stage performance itself that is available. (Hamilton and Phantom of the Opera need not apply as I adore them already.)

I think WinStitch has a crochet side. I remember that being an option when setting up the program. I've never used it so I don't know how it works.

I like to sing. I'm more than decent. I'm teaching myself to become amazing. Now, why do vocal warm-ups have to be difficult? (I know that they're only difficult because I've never done them before, really. Also, lip trills can go die. I literally cannot do them.)

Have a cross stitch pattern idea percolating.

I like 'em with the skin on, for the most part.

French knots on plastic canvas are exceedingly tricky because on regular fabric, you place the needle slightly to the side of where you brought the needle up. It could maybe be managed by running the needle under a stitch before bringing the needle back through the same hole. *makes note to try*

422, 612, 613 (for a light oatmeal), maybe 738, though that might not be brown enough, 3864.

Those are the colors I have that say 'oatmeal' to me. There might be others. Hope this helps!
