Had a pretty great band practice today.

I'm painting all of my songs on scrap cardboard with trash paint and no technical skill and i'm having a great time.

i went off my meds and its going really well but im gonna be careful about it.

i've decided i'll slowly work on this over the next 10 years of my life because WHO CARES if it takes forever. I'm also making a painting for every song because i want to.

i recently came to the conclusion that 90% of my 15 albums are unfinished products and i now feel free to rerecord, reimagine, and have fun with my art

So, I came up in the DIY folkpunk world in the 00's where you hit it big if you made 50 bucks playing a show. Now I'm trying to get into playing out again but I've got kids, health issues, a place to live. Life costs a lot more now. What is reasonable to ask for a show? I loathe money tbh
