Slapped some colors on this with my Beam Paints watercolors.

I should use my watercolors more.

This is SUCH a mood!

I just want to draw to draw period accurate bugs in my dinosaur project thingy. 😭

I use these cheap wooden pencils that you can get by dozen with just couple euros, but I do have a fancier pencil sharpener with a hand crank that keeps the pencil tips needle sharp when needed!

There was a chance of rain, so I went to take shelter to a coffee shop, and while there ended up cleaning this up a bit.

And last but VERY definitely not least, a soft portrait of Arcanth for the amazing @paperiapina.bsky.social. Did I got a little overboard making an independent 3D maquette of this in advance? Possibly. Do I regret it? Not a damn chance.

A pencil sketch of Arcanth, a lanky fantasy person that looks vaguely kinda like an anthropomorphic ungulate or something. They are sitting on the ground presumably, their right hand resting on a knee in a way that makes their fingers touch the elbow of the same arm. The other hand is propped on the other knee, with a hand propping up their head, looking backwards. Their expression is sleepy, with closed eyes and drooping ears.

"Mmm? No no, I'm listening..."

Long time no Arcanth! Mainly wanted to show how far to each direction their wrists bend, and suddenly spawned a full body sketch.

They're paying so much attention to whoever they're listening to, swears!

Last year I had some blood tests done, they took 8 vials out of me! Some of those were because I had opted to donate some blood for science, though, so the blood panel itself didn't need all of them. But it sure was something to see them fill a whole rack!

Ooohh, I am very, very tempted! 👀 I have a pay day tomorrow, so I'll have to come back to this then, but I think I might have to.

They're wearing mostly blue clothing, they're holding a green rose in their hand, and the most detailed paint job has been done on the grass, sticks and stone on the base instead of the character. The base's rim is also painted gold.

My DnD group is starting our new campaign tomorrow in an IRL session at our GMs place!

And, being great at being in time and totally not leaving things to the last second, I just got my new character's mini painted!
