I think people would have been fine with the former but when it was clear Sony wasn’t doing that, they assumed it was because they were remaking it. I get the logic. Bloodborne would have been as old as as Demon’s Souls was when it got its remake by the time the PS6 comes out.

I have no idea why FROM said not to the Bloodborne pitch, but I will say Bloodborne is a game very defined by its details and imagery, and Bluepoint as a remake studio is not particularly constrained by those intentions.

If those were my intentions to begin with, I'd feel some ways about it.
