Anyway. I am going to learn how to do things. I am going to try to get a better job. Maybe? I need to go back to therapy???

I'm saying this out loud because I am struggling and feel pretty awful, and to... hold myself accountable? I guess? I want to spend time working on this so I don't constantly feel like I'm trying to make myself into a ghost or a speck of dust.

And I hate that so much of the time, I self-sabotage because of money or time or because my scatterbrained lack of executive function makes it difficult to fix things meaningfully.

It's like... every reason to doubt myself or hold myself back or feel guilty over, every occasion to shut myself down or give up has grown massive, far stronger than any reason to think that I'm confident or worthy.

I hate how /small/ I've become. I used to want to do indie gamedev. I used to think coming out and passing would make me confident and self-assured, but it feels like the first lesson I was taught was to force myself into a smaller box than I was in beforehand.

The upper half of the zone being a relatively steep slope helps with this, too!

One of the smart things about the Tempest is that most of the vertical travel through the map is done in the underground caves, and the paths actually cover horizontal distances as well. Too condensed and you feel like you're just going down a too-long spiral staircase or elevator.

I know /why/ the latter is built to the scale it is, but it's almost like that worked well in Amaurot because it was a relatively small portion of the map that didn't require you to traverse a great vertical distance once you were in it.

Dragging another alt through EW and yet again. I will express my disappointment with Mare Lamentorum as a zone.

Specifically, the fact that the moon portion of the zone feels too busy and cluttered and small, while Bestways Burrow feels too vast and sparse!
