noticed quite a bit of stuttering caused by the audio drivers on the windows vm that i mostly just use nowadays to play fortnite

so i passed through an actual audio device and built an audio mixer to bypass it entirely

Yeah I've heared of people using WASM for example to make modding possible in their games. I personally love the idea that they are doing with sandboxed running and such.

Personally, using GL or Vulkan is more beneficial in long run as you only need to worry about one API instead of two separate ones depending on platform. In linux performance of DXVK for example is not remotely close to pure vulkan software.

Oh its an AMAZING guide. I can't stress how well written and paced it is. Esspecially if you have some prior programming language in C-like languages. I do suggest getting off from it eventually. It starts to get a bit stagnant after awhile, at least in my experience.
