Just to review, in the last week the President of the United States:

- Refused to condemn the rise of Neo-Nazis in his party
- Tried to block the release of further evidence he sexually abused children
- Encouraged the execution of Congressional Democrats

Those are just factual statements.

Good plan, although hopefully I won't ACTUALLY need to use it 😀

BREAKING: UK’s response to Covid was “too little too late”. Acting faster could have saved 23,000 lives in England according to the public inquiry.

Boris Johnson presided over a “toxic, sexist, chaotic culture” in No10, where rule-breaking seriously undermined public confidence.

Work-related anxiety so bad I dreamt my name appeared in the Epstein files last night and had to find some way to talk about it without drawing attention to it on the Sky news press preview

Writing about the government’s latest policy announcement and, as usual, torn between three angles: morally awful, politically foolish, and probably unworkable. Something for everyone there

Not one question on Epstein, from the channel that has professed to be *the voice* for forgotten victims and
working-class girls. Just toe-curling sycophantic "journalism".

READ IN FULL: The full transcript from Bev Turner's interview with Donald Trump The President sat down with Bev for GB News's US programme The Late Show Live

Was great to speak with @zoegrunewald.bsky.social last week about the Keep Britain Working review, and what employers and government can be doing to support people with health conditions to thrive in work.

New York has a lesson for the Labour left The era of mild, indecisive centrism is over

I wrote this for the I Paper after Mamdani won the Dem primary.

"Mamdani’s win proves the left doesn’t need to dilute its values to succeed; instead, it needs to focus."

A great day for the golden rule of political analysis: when the right wins it is a resounding ideological victory that humiliates the left and when the left wins it is a precarious fluke that will surely end up humiliating the left. Conservatives are power’s landlords and the left merely tenants

Nigel Farage’s big tent is full of holes, we deconstruct the Reform leader's latest speech Reform UK wants you to believe it’s on the side of working people. In reality, it serves one master.

Beware of false prophets who come to you in tweed suits but inwardly want tax cuts and donor dinners. Now is the perfect moment for one to appear.

At @theleaduk.bsky.social we will keep exposing Farage for who he truly is 👇

Young people are told they’ve been written off by politicians, then told that their pay is too high. The country is too poor for public investment, yet somehow must be made more comfortable for the rich.

Image reads: This is the essence of Farageism: hypocrisy as policy, politics that bends to every audience. It only works if you don’t look too closely, if you accept contradiction as part of the deal. Workers hear rhetoric about fairness; bosses get promises of deregulation...

There are so many contradictions in Farage's speech... On the side of workers but not enhanced employment rights, young people are being written off but their minimum wage is too high, govt isn't representative enough, it needs more city traders....
