You can’t convince me that Dem leadership gives a fuck about a single part of their platform. They’ll say compromise advances immediate goals like it’s not a veil of morality shielding platitudes and placation, but, in truth, all this party does is lose the long game, faster and faster, to oblivion.

The loss of Medicaid has already forced hospital closures. There will be fewer options for rural people. There are so many things about to get much much worse for the average American.

And it’s all a knock on effect. People can’t pay premiums, so go without healthcare. They don’t go to the doctor until it’s an emergency and drive up their cost exponentially when a $40 doctor visit 6 months prior would have fixed the issue. Providers and hospitals won’t receive payments on claims.

The thing that worries me most about this is these Dems that caved, they’re kicking the can and hoping that people like them don’t exist in the House. The senators are not losing their healthcare or their salaries. There’s a lot of pain about to come. A lot of pain for regular people.

I did add some brown sugar. I think it would be good with molasses or maple syrup too. I liked that it wasn’t super sweet. I saved the seeds from the pumpkin as well.

Gonna be honest I went straight to Facebook when our district was called as a Yes to fund schools to see all the No votes whinge and try to justify themselves. I despise the FB cesspool, but making an exception tonight.

All of our local school funding levy referendums won. Despite a similar levy being proposed and having a no vote I think two years ago. It wasn’t even close. It feels like people are shifting. It was a pretty big turnout as well for just a funding levy vote in our district.

I think a thing we'll learn tonight is that people fucking hate what is going on and they will straight ticket vote against anyone involved in starving people while pillaging the country and kidnapping their neighbors. I don't think it matters at all who that person is.

I consider myself pretty wary about if a video or photo is AI and I’ve definitely missed indicators on an initial pass. It really does make me much more conscious of what I’m posting.
