Emily seems to be unconscious, but she’s holding the star cube in her left hand. above grace there’s the monster known as The Girl, with her teethy mouth wide open and her hands reaching out to Grace and Emily. in the background of all these sad children there’s a big silhouette of the doll you can find in the cell next to Emily’s. the doll’s head is split in the middle, from top to bottom, the split looks like a mouth, with weird pointy teeth. that surely doesn’t allure to anything in particular. doll’s eyes lack pupils. there’s a shackle on her left ankle. there are also the moon, the star, and the sun symbols. the moon looks like a handcuff on The Girl’s arm, the sun is hiding behind Grace’s shoulder, and the star is above the doll’s shoulder. everything is in grayscale except for upper half of Grace and Emily’s bodies, and the doll’s face and hands, which are done in red.

i think knowing now what to expect a replay will allow me to fully fall in love with this one like i so desperately wanted to, and i've been needing some good news recently so i'm grasping and holding on to anything!!!!

which in theory i love! but post-castle felt very flat for a good portion of the game (gameplay wise, i'm obsessed with the themes in house beneviento and donna's probably my favorite of the family in this game)

it got so absurd and wacky it helped me finally click with the game, where's beforehand it felt very confused to me, juggling different tones and styles of gameplay

i actually loved the factory 😭 it looked stunning and was an unexpected and brilliant unique shift in direction that kept the game's gothic art, from traditional castles and vampires to frankenstein-like machinations

just finished the game, and it did :] as a first for re in my experience, where the finales, to me, usually drag or aren't as interesting as the highs of the rest of the games, the last few sections kind of saved the game for me, which from what i understand is a bit of an unpopular opinion
