One of the greatest "new" radio-themed shows is Son of a Critch. It's about St. John's AM station VOCM in the late 80's told from the perspective of the newsman's kid (Mark Critch was a real-life Les Nesman). Great soundtrack and Malcolm McDowell has the performance of his life as the grandpa.
