Glad to provide the occasional Mediterranean field trip ๐
All in all, not a bad way to spend a weekend.
Thanks to everyone following along and supporting my work and adventures. It really means a lot.

Alsoโฆ this one is actually my personal favorite photo from the weekend.
But letโs be honest. Most people will probably prefer the one where Iโm drinking a beer on top of the cliff.
Fair enough.

Sunday morning the sun finally showed up.
So we climbed the Peรฑรณn de Ifach and suddenly the whole coastline opened up below us. Sea on one side. Calpe on the other. Seagulls flying around like they owned the place.

A few moments from a weekend in Calpe.
Clouds everywhere when we arrived. The kind of weather that makes you wonder if the Mediterranean forgot its job for a minute.
Stillโฆ we had an apartment on the 14th floor looking out over the sea.

Thank you Darina for trusting the process and making those last minutes look ridiculously good.
Sometimes the best photos happen after everyone else has already gone home.

Darina standing on a rock.
Yellow bikini.
Flash firing into the evening.
Those last frames of the day ended up being some of my favorites from the shoot.

Some of my favorite photos happen exactly at that moment.
When the โofficialโ shoot is over.
The crowd disappears.
The light fades.
And suddenly the whole place feels quiet again.

Everyone went home.
We kept shooting.
The sunset crowd at Punta Galera was already packing up and hiking back up the path.
Meanwhile Darina was still standing on a rock in a yellow bikiniโฆ and I was down there with a flash refusing to accept that the light was gone.

It's all about the way you look at the world.
Cameras don't create photos. Photographers do. The gear matters far less than the curiosity behind it, the instinct to notice something others walk past, and the courage to point a lens at it.

๐โ๐ผ It was a great day, that makes it easy to tell a great story
I once suggested a โhiking photoshootโ to an exotic dancer.
I imagined boots and practical clothes.
She apparently heard: bring the absolute minimum.
Families walking by.
People staring.
Someone called the police.
The story is wild ๐

Exactly. A good tool stays a good tool. Itโs always about how you use it ๐
Once you know what you want something to feel like, everything aligns.
Framing.
Direction.
Editing.
Confidence.
Light will always matter more than specs.
If you want the full breakdown, I wrote about it here:

Better gear does not automatically mean better photos.
The images that actually stop people from scrolling are about light.
Mood.
Intention.
Energy.
The biggest shift in my work didnโt come from upgrading a camera body.
It came from asking:
What do I want this to feel like?
(๐ฎ/๐ฏ)
Nobody cares what camera you use. They care how it feels.
I made a video about the question I get all the time:
โWhat camera is that?โ
Itโs never really about the gear.

Thanks man! I appreciate it
By 10am Ibiza turns into a frying pan and the magic is gone.
But for those first hours, it felt like weโd borrowed the island.
Thank you to everyone who supports these days and the stories behind them. It genuinely means a lot.

What made it special wasnโt just how she looked.
It was having a place like this completely to ourselves. No phones in the background. No strangers wandering into frame.
Just her, the sea, and me quietly grateful I wake up early for a living.

We moved around the rocks, tested angles, ditched a couple ideas that looked better in my head than in real life.
Thatโs the game.
Sometimes youโre a creative genius.
Sometimes youโre just a guy with a camera and strong optimism.

Iโve shot there before. Usually itโs chaos by noon.
That morning it was silver and quiet. Just waves, cliffs, and me trying to act professional while thinking, โokay wow, this is working.โ
No big production. No assistants. Just good light and good timing.

She showed up at sunrise in Ibiza looking like summer had personally RSVPโd.
Pastel bikini. Bucket hat. Zero tourists.
If youโve ever been to Cala dโHort in the afternoon, you know this is basically a miracle.

Of course. The connection is everything. But it is definitely something you can learn to get better at as a photographer.
