Shirley Raines was a lovely neighbor who saw beauty in so many people.

I remember watching a news report about her here during COVID and then followed her work online. Her service to community, feeding homeless people and her tireless advocacy. What a loss, RIP

This is so true! Also, there was such a real feeling of anti-Americanism here and there is that sense again. I remember U.S tourists then would just say they were Canadian but I hope this time people are less dumb against other humans 😂. Don't blame a person for a country / govt.
